Located on Ambergris Caye, just off the coast
of Belize, El Pescador Lodge caters to all types of anglers,
but specializes in light-tackle, salt water fly fishing with
many guests realizing the anglers' ultimate dream - a Grand
Slam of bonefish, tarpon and permit.
When anglers arrive, El Pescador’s fishing
host will make sure they have the gear they need, and
describe the current fishing conditions. Each day the
guides will assist with casting and fishing instruction, and
when you return to the lodge you may choose to join the complimentary
evening casting workshops, where they teach the skills needed
to succeed in fishing the flats.
In addition to the fantastic fishing, El Pescador
caters to non-angling guests as well, whether it's arranging
for a massage, a day of diving or snorkeling on our world
famous barrier reef with our own on-site dive master, a round
of golf on a private island, a cave tubing adventure or jungle
river cruise to a Maya archaeological site, their experienced
staff is happy to oblige.
